I’ve been a Viking fan all my life. I think they will lose. Maybe I’m just a pessimist.

    Ryan,

The overall matchups do not favor Minnesota. Being a Vikings fan all of my life too it is sometimes difficult to think otherwise. Thanks for your comments.

Retrospect you guys were right. Still bumming.

Manimal-Seems a few guys are getting frustrated with some things at DN. Nothing bothers me. Anything I can do to help you keep the news here updated. I think some of the older DNers would come here as kind of their “retirement home”
How does one do a fanpost here?

  4. Paul Gantner Says:

Thanks for the feedback. I was wondering if anyone was reading? I will update more often. Do you like the articles? I appreciate all feedback. Thanks.

    Hey Paul,
I wrote a few guys from DN who miss the “small town atmosphere” and it has gotten overcrowded. I wrote the editor and offered to write a weekly discussion topic. The articles are fine but news is not being kept up with. I would be happy to have an open discussion column once a week. Some of the guys said they would drop in. We are a cival group and do not allow language or bad characer traits to be witten. We just want a plac ewhere we can be friends. Even talk about ourselves and get to know each other while still talking Vikings. I am a 52 year old native Minn who lives in Fl.I know my Vikings and even was part of disabled group that got to visit one on one with player at training camp. If I go again. I can report on that. Let folks share stories of visiting an opposing teams field, meeting a player. Kind of a socail comentary page I could share once a week.
Is there a way i could publish such a thing. You all could review before posting but I think we could get some more active fans by having someone keep up. The site has great potential and I would be happy to help. It would not be me dominating a post. Rather, opening up discussion on situations as they come about each week. I keeep up with nes in the Twin cities and avid Vikes fans who fill me in. for those who don’t live in Minn., they will love the insite. There many fans I know that have never been to Minn. and love the Vikes. i have lots of topic ideas so let me know if I could do something like that to boost some added interest in the site.

  6. CitrusViking Says:

PS. Try this. Open a topic welcoming new visitors from DN. I will have them just visit and write a comment. Ask them if they would be interested in a weekly forum discussion by Citrus Vike.
Write me at vgerkovich@yahoo.com when you can and we’ll get it swinging and see who is interested. I’ll just start with a welcome /open forum discussion. Thanks. Just wanting to help. I am disabled from an accident and I like any way God can use my limited talents to bring people some fun.
