I'm a WVU fan so I watched Pat play for 4 years. Amazing athlete at the College level, but that doesn't always translate to a pro career. Who was the left handed mobile QB from Nebraska? I'm to lazy to google him, I think he won the Heisman and got drafted by the Rams. They had him on special teams, he played one season then "announced" his retirement.
I'm not sure if Pat is big enough to play in the NFL. He did take some hits throughout his days at WVU and stayed relatively healthy, but there are guys that can chase him down in the NFL.
I didn't think his counterpart Steve Slayton could make it in the pros either, and he looked really good in Houston.
If put into the right system with a couple of decent receivers and somebody to learn under(not Gus) he may surprise people.
