Is Favre done in the big apple?
It seems as if Brett Favre may be another step closer to playing for the Vikings in 2009. According to Pro Football Talk, The New York Jets may decide whether or not to cut Brett Favre by as early as next week.
Favre is reportedly due 13 million dollars next season, but according to Pro Football Talk, the Jets will likely be somewhere between 10 to 20 million dollars over the salary cap. After Brett Favre’s questionable end to the season, the Jets may not think Favre is worth the 13 million he is due next year.
There can be a case for and against Favre, but it is looking slightly more realistic, that Favre could be in the purple next season.
