Jon Kitna is suffering from an injured backand will not start today against the Vikings. Taking snaps in his stead will be Dan Orlovsky, who hasn’t even played enough to earn an ESPN scouting grade.
Orlovsky made the most significant appearance in his NFL career last week against the Chicago Bears when Kitna was pulled in the third quarter. Orlovsky went 13-23 for 97 yards and one interception.
This is obviously good news for the Vikings, but I can’t help but feel sorry for those Lions fans. This team is one of, if not the worst NFL team in history.
And this is the kind of team the Vikings always find ways to lose to.
